Summer Read 2: Cycling

Adding a bike rack to my car and riding partners to my summer life, it seemed fitting to educate myself more on exactly what cycling does to my body and learn tips from experts. From the get-go, this book offers the reader basic but helpful techniques to improve riding such as starting out slow, challenging the heart on the uphill climbs, stretching and eating and drinking plenty, even before your body tells you to.
I have gone on two rides since completing this book and I do feel more confident and educated as a cyclist. I would say that the best tip is to find riding partners because as I have been lucky to experience, cycling is much more fun that way!
