LASAGNA
To celebrate the completion of my first Hospitality Management class I decided to cook dinner for the family. Lasagna was my favorite meal growing up so I cooked a new recipe with beef and mushroom. After completing the layers: beef-ing, noodle-ing, soup-ing, noodle-ing, beef-ing, noodle-ling, soup-ing and finally cheese-ing I realized that I had the tomato sauce left- I forgot to stir the sauce in with the beef after browning! My mom helped me as I carefully lifted each layer and added the sauce. Realization of mistakes and the ability to correct them is a great concept :) It was baked for 3o minutes then broiled for 2 minutes and it came out beautiful (Lori took a picture and I have yet to get it from her so I can post it) and tasted delicious, continuing my childhood love for lasagna. We also brought a piece to our neighbor, Sherry, who thought it was great.
